AMERICAN HEARTBREAK: New Album To Receive Japanese Release

June 18, 2006

San Francisco-based rockers AMERICAN HEARTBREAK have announced that their sophomore album will be released in Japan through Big M.F./ B-Gram Records on July 26. The CD had previously received a North American release on April 18 through the Century Media rock imprint Liquor & Poker Music. The Japanese release will feature two additional bonus tracks, acoustic versions of the album tracks "Last of the Superheroes" and "Unhappily Ever After".

AMERICAN HEARTBREAK, who feature in their ranks former JETBOY guitarist Billy Rowe and former EXODUS bassist Michael Butler, have been one of rock's underground heroes for nearly a decade, and with the release of their eponymous second full-length, they have aimed to leave the underground behind and follow in the footsteps of their arena rock idols. The CD was co-produced by Rick Parker, who had previously worked with the likes of BLACK REBEL MOTORCYCLE CLUB and SPACE TWINS, among others.
